Jewelry Gift Box

Just stumbled over this tiny item I made for my wife last Christmas.

She explicitly wanted SMALL earrings, little tiny spheres. Made of silver.

So, to compensate for the tiny gift I fell back to my common solution: making a nice package for the gift. I took a small Candy tin, created some graphics on the computer, laser-printed them out and covered the box with them inside and outside. Then I used some foam to make a bed inside, covered that with black velvet cloth and placed the earrings.

While gluing on the graphics they crumbled a bit, but that just added to the vintage look off the box.

I was quite pleased with it. And so it was my wife.
All set 🙂
