Birthday Ring Pull Tin

Another one I just dug out, not too fresh, but still nice!This was probably the second or the third can I actually made. It featured a nice scarf inside.
Here you see the tin reversed, with the scarf filled in.

In the following picture you see the lower lid beside the can in it’s upright position. The piece of cardboard that looks like a cupcake paper cup is actually a piece of cardboard, meant to keep the 2K-Epoxy I used to seal the can from getting on the gift.

To bond the lid to the tin can I used a modified belt to hold it in place while the epoxy was curing. Nowadays I use superglue, which is a little runnier but also bonds nicely.

BTW, the recipient’s last name is Bär (Bear), I always try to bring something personal into my designs.
